On Fridays 2 and 9 October Santiago & Sandra
teach a set of two Intermediate classes
with themes:
2 October - "Tango salon I and Milonga traspié:
Elegant promenades and original variations of salidas.
Posture, cadence, dynamics + musicality and sequences
for Milonga traspié"
9 October - "Tango salon II and Milonga traspié:
Complex traditional tango salon sequences with ochos,
giros, sacadas, voleos + musicality and sequences for
Milonga traspié"
Santiago and Sandra make a welcome return following
their visit in April this year. Santiago’s
knowledge of dance and performance is extensive. In
Buenos Aires he studied dance techniques which included
contemporary, jazz and flamenco as well as tango. He
also undertook singing and theatre studies. His tango
teachers (including Raul Bravo, Pepito Avellaneda,
Carlos Perez, Jorge Dispari, Gustavo Naveira and Roberto
Herrera) cover a number of tango styles. However,
Santiago and Sandra's tango teaching is traditional salon
style.
